Training on Human Rights and Harmful Traditional Practices

Project Description

The overall objective was to develop and produce a training manual of four modules (targeting the following groups: community elders, health workers, teachers and children) focusing on human rights and its link to harmful traditional practices affecting children and women in Sierra Leone. Applicable international and national human rights instruments and policies formed the basis of reference for the training manual. NBI conducted a training of trainers' workshop to build the capacity of key project partners to use and implement the human rights training.
