National Assessment and Feasibility Study on Teenage Pregnancy

Project Description

The Sierra Leone Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MoHS), through the National Secretariat for the Reduction of Teenage Pregnancy (NSRTP), requested technical assistance from NBI for a national assessment and feasibility study on teenage pregnancy in Sierra Leone. Data was collected across the country using mobile data collection. The study sought to identify the root causes of Sierra Leone’s high teenage pregnancy rates. Results of the study are being used by the National Secretariat to guide the design of future interventions.
